Back to School Bash The Estherville Lincoln Central School District and Iowa Lakes Community College are excited to announce their 1st Back to School Bash for the Estherville Community on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. This event is to celebrate the start of a new academic year for all the students in the Estherville Community. The event will be open to ALL community members to come out and show their support for the Estherville students and enjoy a FREE meal and activities. Please read this letter for how you can help! Family Fun Night - Good Sam Tonight, August 19th, is Family Fun Night at Good Samaritan Society in Estherville! Everyone is welcome to enjoy food, entertainment and good company starting at 5:30pm! Young Professionals Young Professionals Meeting The Next Young Professionals Meeting will be Monday August 26th, one week from today. The meeting will be held at Woody's Pizza on the patio from 5-7pm. Everyone who lives or works in the Estherville area and is 35 and under are welcome! We will have a social hour with a short and informal meeting. This is a great event to socialize and meet other local young people. Businesses should consider sending their young employees! 2nd Annual Octoberfest 5K Fun Run/Walk Now that Sweet Corn Days is over it's time to start thinking about our upcoming events! Will be having the 2nd Annual Octoberfest 5k Fun Run/Walk this October 5th! The run/walk will start at 10am and will go through Fort Defiance State Park. All proceeds go to the Estherville Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of Fort Defiance group! More information here! To register HERE! Come visit the many great vendors selling baked goods, produce, crafts and more! We have many new vendors this year and the regulars from years past. The markets runs from 5-7pm weekly until September 5.
