Fort Defiance Trail Dedication The Friends of Fort Defiance are hosting a dedication of the Whitetail Ridge Interpretive Trail on Saturday, May 3, 2014! Join them for the dedication at the West parking lot of Fort Defiance State Park at 1pm. This trail is a great asset to our community! We here at the Chamber are very proud of the Friends of Fort Defiance group and will be at the dedication to show our support and we hope you will too! What's Happening? Chamber Building We are excited to announce that we are in the process of purchasing our current building at 620 1st Ave S from Iowa Lakes Community College! We are looking forward to owning our own building and being able to add our own personal touches to our location! We are very appreciative of everyone who helped us with this big decision and process! Downtown Market The dates for the 2014 Downtown Market season are set! New changes in the schedule for 2014 include the addition of Saturdays and a longer season! The 2014 season will run from June 12th through September 27th! The market will be Thursday's only in June then will include both Thrusday evenings and Saturday mornings in July and August then conclude with only Saturdays in September! We are currently signing up vendors if you would like to be a vendor please click here for more information and a signup form! Info Dog Security setup 5-5-5 Entrepreneurs Josh Nelson, Kevin Robinson and Wade Steenhoek announced this month that their Chamber Member business, Info Dog Security, will fund 5-5-5, a scholarship for students who attend the Business Horizons summer program.
