If you did, I’m sure like me, you are beaming with pride over our FOYO leadership team who brought the 2020 Best of Fair Oaks Awards Night to life! It was pre-recorded at iconic locations in Fair Oaks by FOYO members: Jimmy Larkin, Jr. Honorary Mayor, Sophie Bollinger, Miss Fair Oaks, Matthew Mason, Producer and Director of the 2020 BoFOs, Noah Wright, Delanie Kendall, Cassie Kendall, Jake Wright, and Emma Ford. You can see the video at www.fairoakschamber.com and even donate to their scholarship fund there. Applications are being accepted now for youth ages 12-19, to join this very special group! BoFO voting took place at www.bestoffairoaks.com where you can see all the nominees and the winners in each category. Not listed at that site, are the nominees and winners for the special FOCC-specific awards, chosen by the Board of Directors and the Executive Director for their support of FOCC and the community over the previous year. Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Ryan Griffith, Averik/Voterfly, and the nominees were: Katy Coss, FO Park & Rec District, John Oldham, Resident Member, and Jeanette Woodward, Resident Member. Congratulations to all!! Hey Fair Oaks and Orangevale – let’s show some more love to our local businesses! The OV-FO Community Foundation has launched ‘Dinners on Us’ through March 12th! Details are at this link and on social media. It’s a great program with a different restaurant featured each week. You can pay what you can or pay it forward. Either way, everyone wins! https://ovfocf.org/dinners-on-us. Thank you for shopping, dining, and spreading the love locally. We’re all in this together! See you in Fair Oaks!
