Best of Fair Oaks Gala

A great time was had by all tonight at our 4th Annual Best of Fair Oaks Gala Awards Night!! Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners in each of 47 categories! Records were broken! Hats off to our very own FOYO - FO Youth Outreach for hosting this special evening at North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks! A huge THANKS to Ryan Griffith of Averik for the bestoffairoaks.com website! Go there now to see the results! Thanks also to American River Messenger for being a partner in this project. Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes and desserts, too! You're the BEST, Fair Oaks!!

Every year, there are several Chamber-specific awards presented at Best of Fair Oaks Gala Awards night. Citizen of the Year and Special Recognition recipients are chosen by the Board of Directors. Business Person of the Year, Business of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year categories have nominees in each category and the Chamber membership votes for them. For 2019, the award recipients are:
Citizen of the Year: Roselyn Barbray, Optavia
Special Recognition: Dot Boyd, Senior Safety Specialist
Business Person of the Year: Rich Keith, Del's Pizza; nominees were Mike Maddox, Lyon Real Estate and Erik Hokum, UPS Store Gold River.
Business of the Year: House to Home Moving, Jacob Giorgi; nominees were Averik, Ryan GriffithBob's Cycle Center, and Fair Oaks Cemetery Dist.
Volunteer of the Year was awarded to two recipients:
Ryan Griffith and Matthew Mason; nominees were John Oldham and Jill Stevens. Congratulations to all!
