Generation GemsTM began with the concept of the Mother's Bracelet... When a family of 3 becomes a family of 8... trying to get the names of 6 children on one bracelet becomes a problem with the "traditional" letter beads. The search was on to find a way... It helped that the founders of Generation Gems happen to have a laser engraving business. When Kristy Carder, along with her parents, Bob and Jan Stiern, came up with the idea - right away, they knew they had something unique. Engraving in Hematite and Cat's Eye has become a daily event for Stiern Laser, Inc., founder of Generation Gems.
