A Heartfelt Thank You to All!

The last few months have been packed with days of creating, planning, preparing, gathering up details and collaborating wth others. Countless hours, effort and hard work by many volunteers, has been put into the last few successful events that have taken place in our Southern Humboldt Community. We would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to all that have helped see the following events through.
Our Small Business Saturday Sale was a success because of our local Merchant's coming together with some really amazing sales and giving our community options to shop local! Thank you to all of our business owners and those who chose to shop in town that day.
Our Season's Greetings Holiday Sale wouldn't have been successful, if it weren't for the many volunteers and community pulling together to make for a fun filled evening had by all!
Thank you to Soroptimist International of the Redwoods for collaborating with us on your 12th Annual Lighted Truck Parade and for those that entered, we hear this year was bigger than last year! Thank you to our local Merchant's for putting on special sales that day, to the businesses that participated in our Elf on the Shelf promotion and wreath contest, to The Stonery and J Catering for offering a place for children to meet Santa, grab a cup of hot cocoa and some baked goodies, to Parky's Pics for capturing timeless moments, to South Fork High School JR class for their hot plate dinner, and to all the volunteers that helped make this evening a magical one! We would also like to recognize The Humboldt County Sheriff's Department for the extra patrols and effort they put in to ensure a safe and happy evening. We appreciate all you do for our community.
We would also like to express gratitude to our members and prospective members that attended our December Mixer that was held Thursday, December 14th, 2017. We appreciate everyone that came out to enjoy the evening.
Thank you to Umpqua Bank for allowing us to use your space to host our Mixer, to Jack Totten and Humboldt County Recology for sponsoring the food and drink, The Chimney Tree for catering the food, to Tranquility Lane for the beautiful "Reindeer Bouquets", and to South Fork High School Choir for singing at our event. Our evening was filled with stories, smile and laughter!
We are touched by the amount of community support shown on these past events and look forward to continuing to serve our Southern Humboldt Community.
