5TH ANNUAL “TRIBUTE TO SHEROES” AWARDS

 

 

The nomination period is Monday, March 1, 2011 – Friday, March 25, 2011.

 

In honor of Women’s History Month, Senator Price is soliciting nominations of remarkable women who reside in the 26th Senate District. Senator Price will select 26 SHeroes, the honorees will be announced in the beginning of April and will be honored at a ceremony in May 2011.

 

A “SHero” is a woman who has demonstrated leadership, pride, volunteerism and commitment to her community in a remarkable manner.

 

To nominate a “SHero” from your community, please complete both sides of the nomination form. (Nomination form Attached). Nominees must live in the 26th Senate District.

NOTE: All nominees must live in the 26th Senate District and cannot be an elected official

Who Is A Shero?
A SHero is a woman who inspires others through her own actions. She is an example of community pride and has made a difference by giving a significant amount of her time through community service and/or community leadership for noteworthy improvements.

1. Please attach an explanation of how this woman demonstrates the image of a
“SHero” to you and the community.
2. Please submit a Biography of your nominee.
(If selected, the biography/explanation will be read at ceremony and put in the program book)
