Promote Your Business and Recruit New EmployeesGardena Valley Chamber of Commerce and El Camino College Career Center would like to invite you to participate in our CAREER EXPO & MAJORS FAIR scheduled for Wednesday, April 27th, from 10am-2pm at the Library Lawn. The fair serves a dual purpose for the employers and the students. At the fair you will have an opportunity to interview, recruit, and market your products in an open friendly campus. The campus is also an ideal place for you to promote and disseminate your company literature. The fair also provides the students with a valuable opportunity to gain work experience related to their academic major and/or career goal. Students are seeking volunteer, paid, full-time, part- time, temporary or permanent positions. Hopefully, such experiences will give our students avenues to network and interact with professionals in their field of interest. El Camino College serves a diverse group of 28,000 plus students who are energetic, competent, and enthusiastic about the possibility of gaining employment with your company. We anticipate a large number in attendance that includes students and community members. Therefore, please come prepared with promotional items and information highlighting your company profile. Also, feel free to bring goodies and freebies. For a nominal fee of $30 the following will be offered at the fair; morning refreshments, lunch, a table and two chairs per company. Fees are waived for non-profit agencies. Please note that tables are not assigned and they are first-come, first-served basis. Checks can be mailed to my attention and made payable to El Camino College Career Center, Account #10421 by Monday, April 18th. A receipt is available upon request. If you are interested in attending the fair, please complete the attached Employer Registration form and email it to Saori Ueno at SUeno@elcamino.edu or fax it to (310) 660-3461. Please RSVP by Monday, April 18th. Upon receipt of your confirmation we will email you with parking information and direction to the campus. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you at the fair. | |
