About Us
Cruiser V:
The Intrepid Cruiser V model is the result of the experience gained on race tracks all over the world since 2006. In actual fact, like its “brother” Sirius, Cruiser V has raced in the most important international competitions, winning some of the most prestigious world championship titles. At a technical level, it distinguishes itself for its frame made of 30 mm diameter tubes. For this reason, the Cruiser V model is the perfect frame for those who want to get the most out of their kart. The precision with which it can be fine-tuned makes it ideal for drivers who like to tweak every detail of the structure. Moreover, generally speaking, the Cruiser V model is also the ideal kart when a driver finds himself face-to-face with a track that provides high grip levels on the asphalt. The design of the frame is a typical "two curve" setup. While the main feature of the Cruiser V model is the fact that, in the central section, its longitudinal tubes are perfectly parallel [1]. The central crossbar on the other hand is slightly curved in shape [2]. Cruiser V, like the Sirius model, has 3 removable stiffening bars: front [A] side [B] and rear [C].
Price: $4395.00
Sirius:
Sirius is the latest Intrepid branded kart to leave the production plant in Salizzole. It has a 32 mm tube frame, except for the front crossbar made from a 30 mm diameter tube.
This makes it easier to handle and, consequently, a more manageable frame, especially for drivers who are just starting their karting experience and, although they are using a high performing vehicle, prefer the easier setup. Overall, however, regardless of the driver’s driving experience and fine-tuning of the setup, the Sirius model is more suitable for more precarious grip conditions. Like its "brother", Cruiser V, the Sirius model also has a "two curve" frame. The differences lie mainly in the central part of the frame where the longitudinal tubes have different angles: arrow-shaped [1], in the case of the Sirius model. The central crossbar is also perfectly straight and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis [2]. Sirius, like the Cruiser Vl, has 3 removable stiffening bars: front [A] side [B] and rear [C].

Speedy Cadet:
The Speedy chassis is built with 28 mm diameter tubes in accordance with applicable regulations. The axle, again according to kart regulations, has a diameter of 30 mm. But this varies depending on the local regulations, as there are also one piece 25 mm diameter axle versions. The chassis has an eight-curve geometric structure. This makes it a refined frame which is able to adapt to the diverse conditions of grip and track. The design in some areas, such as the centre crossbar, strongly resembles that of its older brother Cruiser V. Evidence that a lot of the experience gained during the races at international level with professional drivers has been poured into the creation of the entire range of frames right down to the models dedicated to kids. There are specific requirements for this type of kart, such as for instance the bar under the seat fitted in the opposite direction and inclination on the Speedy compared to what we see on the Cruiser V version. This is because the load transfer during braking with this kind of kart, given the low weights involved, is much lower than those on "normal" karts. A workaround solution was therefore devised that makes the kart faster and smoother when tackling the curves, a sore point for "minikarts" in general.
