30TH ANNUAL LUKE SHOOT OUT GOLF TOURNAMENT, MARCH 11TH

Get your foursomes together for the 30th Annual Luke Shoot Out Golf Tournament scheduled for Friday, March 11th with a 7:30am shotgun start at Falcon Dunes Golf Course, just north of Luke Air Force Base on W. Northern. Part of the proceeds will benefit the base Commander’s project, Operation Warm Heart, which assists E-1 to E-4 whose spouses are overseas.
The major sponsor for the tournament is Tri West Healthcare Alliance and the contest sponsor is Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort , plus Lerner & Rowe is a contest sponsor with Casino Arizona..
For $1,000, you could be a contest sponsor and receive name recognition, two hole signs and a foursome. A $500 contest sponsor gets name recognition, one sign and a twosome in the tournament. The cost for golf is $100 per person and a hole sponsorship is $125. If you have a foursome and sponsor a hold, this cost is only $495. That is a $30 savings. For information about sponsorships or to register for golf, contact Harry Shapiro, 623-937-4754.

Mastering the Purchasing Maze Procurement Fair Returns April 26

The Glendale Chamber of Commerce, Luke Air Force Base and the City of Glendale will host the 8th Annual Mastering the Purchasing Maze Procurement Fair and Small Business Trade Show on April 26 at the Glendale Civic Center from 8am – 11:30am.

This is the largest FREE procurement friar in the State of Arizona with an average attendance of more than 1,000 small businesses and government agencies. The event is a great opportunity to meet buyers representing federal and state agencies, military bases, colleges and universities, school districts, and cities and counties.

The event also plays host to a small business trade show, sponsored by the Chamber and Arizona State Credit Union, where small businesses can exhibit and meet with one another to exchange products and service…all under one roof!

Here is a great chance to work a trade show where there is a ready-made business crowd, and buyers wanting to hear about your business!

Exhibit tables are $100 for Glendale Chamber member businesses, $200 for non members, and $50 for government and non profit agencies. For more information, contact the Chamber at 623-937-4754.
