West Valley Chambers Combine Efforts For August 25 Expo

The West Valley Chamber of Commerce Alliance will hold it’s 10th Annual “Biz to Biz” Expo on August 25 at the newly remodeled Wigwam Resort from 4-7pm. The event will feature businesses from all six West Valley Chamber – Buckeye, Southwest Valley, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, and Wickenburg.
Exhibit spaces are still only $150 (if registered by August 1) There is an additional $25 additional charge for electricity. Exhibit spaces include a six foot draped table top and two chairs.
Space is limited to a first come first served basis and this show sells out so reserve your space ASAP.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your business to over 500 non exhibitor small business attendees, as well as the nearly 100 plus exhibitors. This will be one show you won’t want to miss! Meet potential business clients from all over the West Valley and network with hundreds of other businesses, all in one venue.

MEMBER BENEFIT.. 4 NETWORKING GROUPS

Glendale Chamber members can attend networking groups in the morning, lunch time or after work. Take advantage of networking with other members on a regular basis to enhance the growth of your business.

The Noon Networking Group meet every Tuesday at the Glendale Chamber office, 7105 N. 59th Avenue. It is a brown bag gathering, so you can bring your own lunch. There is no cost to attend for Glendale Chamber members.
Every Wednesday morning is the Sunshine Club, who meet at the Black Bear Diner, 6039 W. Bell Rd. at 7:30am. The cost is $75 per quarter, which covers the cost of breakfast.
On Thursdays, when there are no other conflicting events, the After Work Happy Hour networking groups meet at the Zendejas Grill, 19420 N. 59th Ave. in the Citadelle Plaza at 4:30pm. There is no cost to attend for Glendale Chamber members.
There is a Friday Morning Sunshine Club who meet weekly at Bitzee Mama’s at 7023 N. 58th Ave. at 7:30am. The cost is $75 per quarter, which covers the cost of breakfast.

AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION GOLF TOURNAMENT, JUNE 24TH

The Frank Luke Chapter of the Air Force Association will hold a golf tournament on Friday, June 24th at the Falcon Dunes Golf Course, 15100 W. Northern. Registration begins at 6am with a 7am shotgun start for the four person scramble. There will be hole in one and closest to the pin challenges. DEER VALLEY EDUCATION FOUNDATION DONATES $30,000 FOR SCIENCE CENTER

The Deer Valley Unified School District is starting a Science Resource Center which will be located at the Materials District Center. $30,000 has been donated by the Deer Valley Education Foundation for the project. The funding will be used to cover the cost of shelves and other necessary supplies to stock the Full Option Science System kits, a research based science curriculum for grades K through 6. The science system was developed at the Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California at Berkeley.

BOWL- A- THON TO BENEFIT HEART FOR THE CITY, JULY 16th

Heart for the City, a program to help inner city youth and their families, will hold a Bowl a Thon on Saturday, July 16th at the Brunswick Zone, 59th Avenue north of Bell Rd. The event will be held from 2pm to 4:30pm.
Get your team together for this event. Five person teams are $150. Be a lane sponsor for $500 will cover the cost of your team, your logo on a banner above your lane, your logo on the Heart for the City website for a year, your name and logo on all printed materials for the event and an opportunity to display your product at the event.

The Glendale Chamber hosts 4 networking groups, all at a low or no cost to members. The groups meet weekly to network with each other, exchange business information and business leads.
