Chamber Member Businesses, Agencies and Organizations that would like to add information or gift item to the Welcome Glenwood Program folder of information and/or gift bag should get that information or promotional item to the Chamber & Welcome Center as soon as possible.
We need 25 brochures and 25 gift items, coupons, etc., as we are putting together the next 25 bags now. For those business that are participating - THANK YOU for your continued support of this program.

It was a busy weekend with many community events and activities going on all over Pope County. We hope everyone had an enjoyable long 4th of July weekend.
July will be another busy month in Glenwood and Pope County. The next music in the park concert at the Glenwood City Park will be Thursday evening , July 14th at 7:00 p.m.
The Pope County Fair will be held before Waterama this summer. The dates of the Pope County Free Fair is July 20-23rd.
Then we will end with the Waterama celebration the last full weekend in July, July 28-31st.

Waterama Downtown Crazy Days and City Park Board Walk Sales Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for Waterama Downtown Crazy Days and City Park Boardwalk Sales.
Waterama Downtown Crazy days will be held on Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29th. Downtown is free to chamber members. When registering online use the discount code: cmwaterama. For non-members the fee is $50.00.
The Community is invited to Bremness Gallery at 226 East Minnesota Avenue, Glenwood on the grounds of the historic Ann Bickle Heritage House during the month of July. The show features the artwork of Orlando Haugland and David Lent from Glenwood and Steven Lewis Larson from Starbuck.
The Bremness Gallery is open 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 24th through July 30th.

Minnewaska Lake Association Annual Banquet, July 9, 2016
Area residents can still get tickets at the door for the annual Minnewaska Lake Association banquet, set July 9 at the Minnewaska House.
The banquet is a major fundraiser for Minnewaska Lake Association (MLA), which does a number of yearly projects to improve Lake Minnewaska, inlcuding Walleye fingerling stocking and efforts to eliminate Eurasian Water Milfoil from the lake. The banquet starts at 5:00 p.m. with dinner at 7:00 p.m.
