We've all been hearing that this week, as Labor Day is just around the corner, with school open houses scheduled for today and tomorrow and school faculty back to work. Monday, Labor Day is the 150th Founding of Glenwood Birthday Bash at Barsness Park. from 1:00-4:30 p.m. Starting at 1:00-2:45 p.m. there will be games and prizes, at 3:00 p.m. the concert featuring Cimarron will begin. During the concert free cupcakes, lemonade and coffee will be served (while supplies last). As always there is several things going on over the Labor Day weekend. As part of the application process for these funds, the City must provide a list of interested property owners and examples of projects in Glenwood which need funding. It is important that you complete the attached Letter of Interest Form if you would like funding from this grant to fix up your property! If you own multiple buildings downtown, please complete and submit separate forms for each building! The open houses are important events; school pictures are taken , forms filled out and turned in, children and parents can meet new teachers, tour classrooms and more.
