Magical Christmas in Glenwood
Stop and do your Christmas Shopping at Eagle Bank this week Thursday and Friday as Eagle Bank hosts the annual "A Magical Christmas in Glenwood" Christmas Bazaar. Currently we have seven vendors selling their products.
We still have room for a few more vendors, so if you're interested sign up today!
Vendor Information:
Vendors will be allowed to sell/showcase their products and/or services during regular banking hours. Tear down will be scheduled at 5:00 p.m on Friday. To register go to our website and register for the Magical Christmas in Glenwood Christmas Bazaar.
We typically do not allow duplicate vendors with the same products and/or services at this event due to limited space, company rules, and/or Chamber & Welcome Center policies and procedures. We have, however, in the past, worked with people to share a space or each take one of the two days if vendors so choose.

Everyone is welcome to join us for our annual Open House and FREE Family Night on Thursday evening, December 8, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber and Welcome Center is located at 7 First Street NW, Glenwood, MN (behind Subway Restaurant).

- Minnewaska ECFE "Make & Take Activity (while supplies last)
- Coloring Contest
- Frost and Decorate Your Own Yummy sugar Cookie
- See Santa and Have your picture taken (4x6 FREE - you can take your photo home with you!)
Adults and parents, relax and enjoy some refreshments compliments of the Chamber & Welcome Center.
Glenwood Day at Andes Tower Hills
Glenwood Day at Andes Tower Hills is this Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for a family ski day. Andes Tower Hills is providing a fun day for families at GREAT Prices.
Cost of Tickets:
- Lift Ticket - $10.00 (regular $42.00)
- Lift Ticket & Regular Ski Rental - $15.00 (regular $65.00)
- Lift Ticket & Regular Snowboard Rental - $20 (regular $75.00)
Tickets are ONLY available at the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center and must be purchased and picked up prior to Saturday, during our office hours are 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here!
You can register and reserve your tickets and pay by credit card online by visiting our Chamber website at GlenwoodLakesArea.org, click on MORE, drop down to calendar. On the left side of the page you will see several different events to register - look for Glenwood Day at Andes Tower Hills.
Tickets are available only at the Chamber office and must be picked up by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9th. Please call the Glenwood Lakes Chamber & Welcome Center if you have any questions regarding this event or purchasing tickets at 320-634-3636.

Come and experience the Lighted Holiday Train. The train will arrive around 10:00 a.m. and includes a free event with live musical entertainment at 10:15 a.m. Allow a little extra time for parking and walking. This is a half hour program.
The Canadian Pacific Railroad brings this train to our community as a fundraiser for our local Pope County Food Shelf. We have drop boxes available for non-perishable food items at Glenwood State Bank, Eagle Bank, Glenwood Chamber & Welcome Center, Central Square, Minnewaska Area Elementary School, Kingdom Kids and Glacial Hills Elementary School until noon on Friday, December 9th. Items can also be dropped off that morning at the depot.
Hot chocolate and Christmas cookies will be served compliments of the Oak Tree Inn and Penny's Diner from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
