Stop by the Pope County Farmers' Market, this Saturday, June 30th and say "Hello" to Mary Jenniges of Glenwood.
Mary has been involved with the Farmers' Market for many years. She is known for her ginger cookies plain and frosted, caramel puffcorn, and banana bread with walnuts. She also has banana zucchini pecan bread and fresh produce, when ripe.
We asked Mary what she likes best about being part of the Farmers' Market. Mary's reply was, "very nice people to work with".

The Pope County Farmers' Market is held at the Pope County Fairgrounds, on West Minnesota Avenue and State Highway 28 West. Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., through October (as long as supplies last).
We have seasonal vendors and part-time vendors. All items are Minnesota Grown or Minnesota Made (items hand crafted, etc.).
Pope County Farmers' Market is licensed by the Minnesota Department Agriculture - (Minnesota Grown Labeling) and Member of Local Harvest. |
