NO Rise and Shine October, November & December

We want to get back on track with Rise & Shine in 2018.  Rise and Shine is a great opportunity for new businesses, agencies, organizations and clubs to social network with others in the area.  There is no longer a fee to host (chamber and/or non- Members).  Hosts need to provide a light breakfast and two door prizes. Rise and Shine is held the 4th Friday of the month.   Give the Chamber office a call if you are interested in hosting at 320-634-3636.

Greetings!

As you will notice in this newsletter that we
had no one sign up
Image result for images of halloween to host Rise and Shine for October 27th,
so we will not have Rise and Shine for October, November and December and will start up again in 2018.

The Chamber Board of Directors made some changes regarding Rise and Shine at the September meeting.  It was decided that we not charge a fee to host and that it would be open to members and non-members  to host.  It was also decided to not have Rise and Shine during the summer months.

It's simple to be a host, all you need to do is provide a light breakfast and two door prizes. Usually the event will take place at your business, however our conference/meeting room can be used, if you feel you don't have enough room at your location.

This is a great opportunity to social network and learn about the different businesses, agencies, organizations, we have in our community.  Just give the chamber a call if you're interested.   We usually have about 25 people that attend.

Needed....Sponsors and volunteers for the Indoor Community Trick or Treat.

The Indoor Community Trick or Treat  has been going on for many years now at the Fright Nights Haunted House.  It started when the haunted house was located at the fairgrounds and continued after it was relocated to Central Square at its current location. This provides families a safe, non-scary (lights on) option to walk through and receive candy from various businesses, clubs, agencies and organizations.

The haunted house will be open on Halloween Night, October 31st  from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for the Indoor Community Trick or Treat. The regular haunted house will open its doors to those that wish to experience the haunted house starting at 7:00 p.m. Halloween night.

This event is not possible without sponsors who provide candy or a give away item, as well as  volunteers willing to be at the haunted house for a couple of hours on Halloween.

We need your help to make this evening a success for families from our community and neighboring communities as well.

All you have to do is register on line to let us know that you will provide a treat and/or volunteer that evening. We acknowledge  our sponsors at the event and in a thank you ad in the Pope County Tribune.

Please register today.

Just a reminder that registration is open for:
