The first annual “Day of Caring” is an event where all the students, staff, and volunteers representing Minnewaska Area Schools give something back to our communities for everything they've given us! The event is slated for Wednesday, May 2, and the students and staff of Minnewaska Area Schools (MAS) are looking for those who would like their help. We are looking for volunteer opportunities!

GROW GLENWOOD WEEKLY BROWN BAG LUNCH MEETINGS, Thursday, May 3, 2018

    
Road construction has begun!

Local area businesses/property owners and the general public is invited to attend a Glenwood Complete Streets project weekly updates. Project staff will be available to answer project-related questions.

Learn more about the project times lines, staging and detour plans.    

The weekly updates will be provided during lunch hours, but these sessions are a "Bring Your Own Lunch" format if you wish. The updates will provide an opportunity for project staff to provide updates of what happened this week, what to expect next week, answer questions, etc.  

Informational updates will also be available on the Grow Glenwood and MnDOT webpages for those that cannot attend. These meetings are provided as a method to keep everyone informed of what's happening and what to expect from start to finish during the project.

The weekly Grow Glenwood Brown Bag Lunch Meetings are Thursdays from 12:00-1:00 p.m., bring your own lunch and get the updates.

5K and 10K Run Around Beautiful Lake Minnewaska Saturday May 5th 2018 at 8 am Race Route

Each pre-registered runner will receive a free race t-shirt. Plus every 25th place in the 5K and 10K will receive $25.00.

5K Kids Race - All kids 12 and under are invited to challenge their running skills and participate in the 5K (3.1 Miles). Entry fee will $12 for kids 12 and under.

Leagues are Just Around the Corner!

Men's Early League - Same format as in years past(4 Man teams playing against other players of your ability) Dave Hausmann will place everyone on teams and be in charge of the league. 11:30 Shotgun - 18 Holes. 

The Open - We will have a game each week with Random Pairings done at 2-3:00, and 4-4:30. If you are going to be playing please let the golf shop know and we will put you in the draw. If you need to play earlier than 2:00 or later than 4:30 you can play and still be a part of the game. There is no up front cost, the only requirement is to have a USGA Handicap. You can play 18 holes from 2-3:00, and 18 holes from 4-4:30, but 9 is also an option. Cost each week will be $10 for the 18 hole game and $5 for the 9 hole game. If you have a time request(early or late) within each draw we can accommodate. This is open to members and we encourage you to invite friends Fore more information click here

Ladies League - Each Tuesday during the year we have our ladies league. 18 Hole league starts with a 9:00 shotgun and 9 Hole league starts at 10:30. 

Couples Night - The format will be the same as in year's past 4 players(2 couples) playing a 9 hole scramble with another group. Each week you can pick the other couple you want to play with(does not need to be the same couple each week) or the golf shop can pair you up with another couple. We will randomly pair you up with another team each week and will have games going each week. Cost per couple per week is $10. We will have sign up each week, so if you know you will be there please let us know. We will be starting the new couples night Wednesday May 16th and running it through the summer. We hope this will encourage more people to join us Wednesday Nights at 6:00!
