Meet Vernon Christie
 
Stop by the Pope County Farmers' Market, this Saturday, September 1 and say "Hello" to Vernon.
Vernon has been a Pope County vendor for several years. He is a part-time vendor that participates in the Saturday markets.
Vernon usually has a variety of fresh vegetables, eggs and at times flowers and plants.
We asked Vernon what he likes best about being part of the Farmers' Market. He replied, "visiting with people."

Stop by the Pope County Farmers' Market, this Saturday, September 1 and say "Hello" to our vendors.
The Pope County Farmers' Market, Glenwood opened June 9th and will continue through October 2018. You will find the farmers' market in a new location this year. We are located in the parking lot, south of the Pope County Museum (look for the totem pole).
The market is open on Tuesday evenings from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and on Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
We have a great variety of products for sale at our Farmers' Market, garden produce, baked goods, wood crafts, jams, jellies, honey, eggs, cheese, frozen processed chickens and more!!
