Welcome - New Chamber Executive Director

Welcome to Janelle Negen who began her full-time position as Director of the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber on Monday, October 22nd.

Hi!
My name is Janelle Negen. I grew up just outside of Lowry, went to high school in Alexandria, and currently reside in Garfield. Prior to coming here, I worked for the University of Minnesota Extension as a 4-H Program Coordinator in Swift County. My husband and I have a one-year old daughter named Jordie, and three dogs. In my spare time I enjoy hunting and fishing, and training and running hunt tests with my dogs. I look forward to the new and exciting opportunities this position brings, and look forward to meeting people in the Glenwood community!

Sponsors Needed for Magical Christmas

It's that time of year when the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center is finalizing plans for the annual Magical Christmas in Glenwood Celebration.

The Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center is proud to organize and co-sponsor the Magical Christmas in Glenwood Celebration once again, with the help from our local sponsors!

ALL activities are FREE and open to the public during this time of year, but without the support of local area businesses, organizations, families and individuals, we cannot offer all that we do.

The Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided to the sponsors in exchange for their financial donations.
In order to receive the tax-deduction receipt, checks must be made out to the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center, not the Chamber!

We are grateful for any sponsorships which will help us continue the Magical Christmas in Glenwood Celebration,  which now is a tradition for families from the Glenwood area and beyond to enjoy.
