About Us
We desire for your experience with us to be as comfortable as possible. This begins with your arrival to our worship facility. Immediately, you will notice that you are greeted with a warm smile and handshake by our Greeters Team. If you need assistance with children, they are there to help you. As you enter our worship center, you will find a blend of races and social classes. We aim to minister the love of Christ to all people.
If you expect the same old church your great grandparents attended, you may be disappointed. We offer a contemporary blend of worship and a teaching style that is easy to understand. We offer special services where Christian Country Musicians minister to us through song and testimony. On occasion, we have special guest speakers who minister to the family, the church, and specific needs of the church. You will get a hint of the old country church as well as the modern trends used today to reach the world for Christ.
Our pastor was born and raised in this community and knows the heartbeat of this area. He is country through and through as exemplified by his casual, laid back attire (boots and jeans) that make all feel right at home at Still Water CLC. It is not uncommon on any given Saturday or Sunday to see those dressed in coats and ties sitting next to a "cowboy" who is sitting next to a teenager in shorts and a tee shirt. We at Still Water CLC are interested in seeing the inside of everyone changed to conform into the image of Christ. We accept everyone as they are, but know they will not stay the same as they are changed into His image.
