Initially established as an educational credit union for Harford County Public Schools educators and students, Har-Co expanded its services in 2018 to embrace the entire community. This means anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or has immediate family in Harford County can become a member. As a nonprofit organization, Har-Co is owned by its members, allowing us to offer better savings rates, lower loan rates, and reduced fees compared to traditional banks.
