About City of Herrin City Clerk
The Clerk’s office performs all duties mandated by state and local law, serving the Council and the general public. The office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed on New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving and Friday after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Also closed on weekends.
City Clerk Shelly Huggins and Deputy Clerk Patty Deaton strive to provide excellent customer service. The Herrin City Clerk’s office provides the residents of Herrin with a multitude of services.
