About Painting with a Twist
Painting with a Twist
Painting with a Twist emerged in 2007 from Cathy Deano and Renee Maloney's desire to offer joy and community spirit in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Starting in a modest "barn," their concept of a paint and sip experience, originally named “Corks & Canvas,” has grown into a nationwide franchise with 300 locations. The company's mission is to provide a joyful escape and make a positive impact, emphasizing the experience over the art itself.
Painting with a Twist is more than an art studio; it's a place for relaxation, connection, and laughter, offering a welcoming environment for various occasions. Rooted in community service, the founders have incorporated charity into their business model through the Painting with a Purpose program, raising nearly $7 million for non-profits. Painting with a Twist stands as a community pillar where guests create more than art—they create memories.
