Kachemak Bay Flying Service
As a proud subsidiary of System Studies and Simulation (S?), we specialize in delivering a diverse array of aviation solutions tailored to meet the needs of commercial enterprises, Government agencies, and Partner Nations alike.
With strategically positioned locations in Temple, TX; Crestview, FL; and Huntsville, AL, KBFS operates at the forefront of the aviation industry. Our extensive certifications encompass CFR 14 FAA Part 133 (External Loads), 135 (Non-Scheduled Transport), 137 (Agricultural Spray Operations), 141 (Flight Training), and 145 (Repair Station), ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism in all our endeavors.
Since our inception in 2007, KBFS has continually expanded its scope of services to encompass both fixed and rotary-wing aviation operations. Our journey began with the acquisition of Kachemak Bay air services, a renowned fixed-wing operation in Alaska. Today, we offer comprehensive aviation solutions and provide essential fixed-base operations support at Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport (TPL) in Temple, TX.
Driven by a commitment to excellence, KBFS has evolved to meet the dynamic demands of the industry. In 2012, in response to growing USG military contracts, we established a training site at Bob Sikes Airport (CEW) in Crestview, FL, which now serves as the esteemed KBFS ISR Training Academy. Additionally, our acquisition of Summit Aviation in 2013 fortified our capabilities, enhancing our expertise in avionics repair and maintenance.
At KBFS, we take pride in our rich heritage and steadfast dedication to delivering unparalleled aviation services. With a legacy spanning over two decades, we remain poised to exceed expectations and propel our clients towards success in the skies.
