HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Highland Auxiliary AwardsChosen from a field of outstanding applicants, each has been awarded a $2,000 college scholarship. The funds are sent directly to the school the winner is attending to be used toward tuition, fees and books. The scholarship award is made based on several guidelines including academic merit, community involvement, volunteerism, personal statement, and letter of acceptance into a medical program at an accredited institution. The St. Joseph’s Auxiliary scholarship committee is proud to offer these scholarships to support the educational goals of local students and to continue to grow the health care professionals of the future for this region. The committee expresses their gratitude to the Auxiliary members who have helped with various fundraisers which allows the organization to continue to fund the scholarship awards.
