Manufacturing Day is Manufacturing Week at The Chamber Partnership

Holland-Springfield Chamber to Celebrate October 4th

The Chamber Partnership-Holland-Springfield Chamber of Commerce will celebrate Manufacturing Day with Springfield Local Schools, Penta Career Center, Springfield Township and the Village of Holland on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

Manufacturing Day℠ is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. Manufacturing Week/ Day is an annual celebration of modern manufacturing during which local partners’ unite communities — including students, educators, business people, media, and politicians — to their facilities in a collective effort to educate visitors about manufacturing career opportunities and improve public perceptions of manufacturing.

While Manufacturing Day is officially Oct. 6, the Chamber Partnership is planning other events during what we are calling MANUFACTURING WEEK in other communities that we serve.  We will open Manufacturing Week on Tuesday, October 3rd with a roundtable with business owners, community leaders, elected officials and local manufacturers along with Northwest State Community College and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).
Stay tuned for more details on this event as we will be announcing our facilities that we will be touring in the coming week!
