About Shoshone County Mining & Smelting Museum
The Shoshone County Mining & Smelting Museum is housed in the 1906 residence of early Bunker Hill manager & president Stanley Easton. The home later became a residence for guests & newly hired staff; as well as hosting many company & community social events. Since 1986 it has been home to the museum preserving and displaying artifacts of local history.
Our mission is to preserve the mining, smelting and cultural history of North Idahos Silver Valley.
