Greater Des Moines Partnership Survey

Voice Your Concerns - Complete the Survey

The Partnership supports initiatives aimed at reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens on industry, promoting economic growth and job creation, and minimizing impacts of government action on small business. We strive to eliminate or reduce unnecessary, outdated, or redundant rules that place undue burden on business. Accordingly, the Partnership supports reforming the regulatory process to make it more effective and accountable. In order to be most effective, we need your help distinguishing what rules and regulations are putting a burden on your business to better represent your concerns. Partnership Members are encouraged to complete a short survey. This will help us to better represent and serve you.  Please complete the survey by September 29, 2014!

Marketing Opportunity - Chamber Discount Club for Simpson Students

The Indianola chamber has been approached by a student group at Simpson College who asked if chamber members would be interested in initiating a discount program for students.  Members will  receive a survey next week to let me know if you would like to participate in this program.  To make it simple for everyone involved, I propose something like the following:

  • The Chamber will collect names of businesses offering a discount to students and prepare a directory

  • The Chamber will provide students with a directory list of businesses offering a discount

  • Participating businesses will be provided a decal to put in windows indicating participation in the program

  • Simpson students will show participating businesses current Simpson ID to receive discount

This is an incredible marketing opportunity for you to capture the business of 1,300+ individuals who call Indianola home for at least 9 months of the year.  This also is a great opportunity to showcase what Indianola has to offer them and to get them comfortable with our community.

Sponsorship Opportunity:
A sponsorship opportunity will be available for this program.  More information will be available soon.
