Nominations Sought for Indianola Chamber Board of Directors


The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for four volunteer board of director openings. Business and community leaders with vision are encouraged to serve and participate in governing and strategic initiatives of the Chamber, which represents nearly 300 businesses and organizations.
 
Board terms vary in length, and selected individuals from this year’s nominations will be seated during the Chamber's annual business meeting in January, 2021.
 
Any Chamber business or organization in good standing may submit a nomination and interested people may self-nominate. Please send an email with the name, email address, and phone number of the nominee to office@indianolachamber.com no later than October 10, 2020. The nominee will be contacted by the nominating committee to complete a formal board questionnaire.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans Available to Iowa Small Businesses

Warren County Included for Reduced Revenues from Drought

Small nonfarm businesses in 38 Iowa counties and neighboring counties in Nebraska are now eligible to apply for low‑interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, announced Director Tanya N. Garfield of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West. These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by drought in the following primary counties that began July 14, 2020.
