Chamber Relocation Update 104 N. Howard Street Well, we are nearly there; the day of the BIG EVENT. Our move-in date has changed to Friday to make sure all is complete and ready for us to take over our incredible space. In moving the date, we have had to release our moving company and it seems to be a busy time to make moves in the Central Iowa Region. So, on Friday at 1:00 pm, we will be loading trucks, trailers and any other vehicle that can haul a few items over to 104 N. Howard. WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO SEE YOUR NEW CHAMBER OFFICE!!! It has been a very interesting process. It has been especially humbling to see all of the work that has gone on over the past 15 years. In clearing out the basement of Wells Fargo Bank, we found notes, and files of the events and meetings that have happened in our great community. When I say humbling I am referring to the moment when you realize that YOU didn't invent THAT! When your children are singing along with REO and Elton John and they think this is THEIR music; what it happens to be is a Classic. Each and every staff and Board member that has touched this Chamber has contributed their talent and insight to this incredible business organization. We are blessed to be a part of this new chapter of the Indianola Chamber's history. We are planning a great Open-House and Ribbon Cutting in the future and each and every one of you will be a great part of this celebration. We will see you soon!
