StoneTapert is the result of the 1998 melding of two well-established life and health insurance and financial services firms, headquartered in Pasadena.Larry Stone founded The Stone Companies in 1961. His son, Bruce Stone, entered the financial services business in 1975, and joined the Stone Companies in 1979. The Stone Companies provide unique solutions for closely held business owners in the areas of business succession, and estate planning and retention programs for key executives deferred compensation.
Don Tapert, C.L.U. founded Tapert Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1962. His son, Chuck Tapert, entered the insurance business with Northwestern Mutual Life in 1983, and joined the Tapert Insurance Agency in 1988. Tapert Insurance Agency, Inc. specializes in Corporate Employee Benefit Programs for companies with 25 to 5,000 employees.
As a result of the merger, StoneTapert provides expertise for over 300 corporate clients in the areas of Corporate Employee Benefits and Corporate Financial Services. The StoneTapert merger created a strategic alliance which maximizes talents and provides the very best products and services to our clients. StoneTapert remains independant of any product vendors, a truly unique attribute in today's market.
