About Us
Citizens of Kimball, Nebraska first organized the Kimball Clean Community System in the 1970's, which became part of the Keep Nebraska Beautiful organization in the early 2000's.
During the past six years,it has developed and operated the Kimball Recycling Center, providing 24-hour collection bins and pick-up service at area businesses.
The recycling program also serves the villages of Dix and Bushnell in Kimball County.
Other activities include the "Golden Broom Award" for businesses that maintain clean and inviting properties; a parking lot cleanup day; a shoping bag exchange where reusable cloth bags are exchanged for plastic shoppng bags; and a tree seedling giveaway.
