About Us
Welcome to a new direction in banking! It is our goal at Points West Community Bank to offer our customers quality products and services, and meet our customers' specific financial needs.
Points West Community Bank is located in the heart of down town Kimball. Points West can trace it's roots back to 1917 when it was chartered under the name "the American State Bank". In 1930, the bank was chartered American National Bank, which it remained until 2001 when it officially became a branch of First National Bank of Sidney NE. In December 2010, the name was changed to Points West Community Bank and went back to being state chartered. Through the years, customer service and offering a wide array of financial products and services have remained a constant priority.
We offer basic checking, savings and certificates of deposit; interest bearing accounts, individual retirement accounts, and health savings accounts. We also offer business and commercial deposit accounts and safety deposit boxes. Our lending staff can help you with installment and real estate loans, commercial and agricultural loans and overdraft protection lines of credit.
You can catch us on the web too; we offer on line banking and bill pay and the ability to receive bank statements electronically. Concerned about identity theft? We now offer free identity theft resolution services. We also have a network of ATM locations and offer our customers Visa debit cards.
