The Lake Washington Education Association (LWEA) is a professional organization representing over 2,000 certificated education professionals within the Lake Washington School District. Our membership includes classroom teachers, school psychologists, counselors, substitutes, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, library media specialists, and education support specialists.

At LWEA, we are committed to protecting and advocating for the rights of our members. We provide guidance, support, and resources to help educators navigate challenges, resolve conflicts, and address professional concerns. As the official bargaining representative, we negotiate with the school district to secure fair wages, equitable working conditions, and reasonable work hours, ensuring a positive and sustainable educational environment.
