About Us
Partners in Care Consultants helps families to coordinate and manage care for their elderly loved ones who no longer are able to live by themselves. It is a difficult choice to have a family member placed into a nursing home or have an agency come to the home when you are unable to care for mom or dad yourself. You are forced to trust in a nursing home or agency to provide the best care when you are away working, or caring for your immediate family. You should call Partners in Care Consultants if you have any of the following questions:
- Do you wonder if your loved one is eating and drinking enough at meal time?
- Is your loved one being properly dressed and showered as promised?
- Going to activities during the day or just sitting in a room alone?
- Do they have unexplained bruising, skin tears, frequent falls or health issues that you are unaware of?
- Is the staff interacting with my family in a way that makes them feel safe, secure and not afraid to ask for help?
- My mom is incontinent, is she being toileted every 2 hours to prevent skin breakdown, odor, and embarrassment?
This is were Partners in Care Consultants comes in. We will make unannounced, weekly visits to your family member at the nursing home for you. Our visits are made during the day or evening, as many times a week as you like. We provide a detail report to you on our findings via mail, email or we will call you if an urgent situation arises while we are on site. Nursing homes and private duty agencies are very expensive and have lots of different staff and personalities caring for your family member. Wouldn't you like to know what's going on when your not there? If so, look no further. PCC will be your eyes and ears for your loved one when you are away to ensure care is provided as expected.
Perhaps you live in a different city and haven't seen your elderly loved one in months. You have to only rely on what the caregiver is telling you over the phone or what the loved one tells you when you call. This may only give you information on what's going on at the moment.
