Gary Rulli's reputation as a renowned Pastry Chef has resonated far beyond the walls of our beloved pastry and savory kitchen in Larkspur. His Panettone, a traditional Milanese Christmas bread, is a global sensation, delighting taste buds around the world. Our mission at Emporio Rulli is to bring a genuine Italian coffee and pastry bar experience to the San Francisco Bay Area, where every item in our beautifully crafted Italian showcases is made with dedication and expertise, 365 days a year.
As fourth-generation natives of San Francisco, our family has been proudly serving as ambassadors of Italian culture and gastronomy for over three decades. In our family-run operation, we take pride in producing artisan handmade pastries, bread, paninis, macarons, salads, and handcrafted coffees that are both unique and authentic. What sets us apart is our commitment to quality, with Chef Rulli himself roasting our coffee bi-weekly in-house—an endeavor that reflects his training under the legendary Alfred Peet, the artisan coffee movement pioneer and founder of Peet's Coffee & Tea.
