September Business After Hours
Business After Hours is an excellent networking opportunity held on the 4th Thursday monthly from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The September 26th BAH will be hosted by 10th Mountain Huts Leadville Base of Operation at 182 Hwy 91. The turn-off for the property is just after Ferrell Gas heading north on 91 and will be indicated by balloons. Be sure to bring your business cards and extra cash for some really great prizes being offered up this week!
SBDC and Upcoming Workshops
The Leadville/Lake County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the Lake County Board of County Commissioners is finalizing an agreement, along with Chaffee and Park Counties, to host the Central Mountain Small Business Development Center. The LLCCOC is excited to partner with the county in bringing small business counseling and workshops to our county. To get the ball rolling we have three exciting workshops coming up right here in Leadville. Two are designed around assisting small-town retailers to grow and strengthen their online presence and marketing. The 3rd is a valuable workshop on how to manage the ever-changing Human Resouce laws. Please stay tuned for more information on dates, times and location.
