Director's Corner

Hello Members,
I hope the summer is productive and profitable for everyone.  Believe it or not, now that the Visitor Center is open 7 days a week, we are now welcoming and assisting almost 1,000 people per week!!  Our ambassadors are providing great information and encouraging folks to spend as much time as possible enjoying our great city and county.

For those members who have not come by the visitor center for some time, I encourage you to do so.  We have updated the decor, improved the visibility of Chamber member pamphlets and information, and made it easier for people to access the information they need to spend quality time (and money!) here in Leadville and Twin Lakes.

Thank you, and we at the Chamber appreciate the welcoming atmosphere Leadvillites go out of their way to provide.
Jeff McGuinness

Thank you Boom Days Committee and Elks Lodge!

On behalf of the Chamber Board and membership, I wanted to pass on a hearty THANK YOU! to the Boom Days Committee and Elks Lodge #236 for hosting a wonderful and well attended Business After Hours last Thursday.

There were over 100 Chamber members and their guests in attendance and, as always, Don Ferrie and the gang were great hosts and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  The atmosphere was welcoming and chamber members had plenty of opportunity to network and get excited about the upcoming Boom Days celebration.

See you at Boom Days August 2, 3, and 4th!

Save the Date for next Business After Hours

Please mark your calendars now for the next Business After Hours in August.  It is scheduled for Thursday, August 22nd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and will be hosted by Pueblo Bank and Trust.

We look forward to seeing everyone then!
