Derek Miller, President and CEO, World Trade Center

Prior to his current position, Mr. Miller served as chief of staff to Governor Gary R. Herbert, overseeing the Governor’s Office, the Governor’s Cabinet and state operations. Mr. Miller has also served as managing director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development where he was responsible for recruiting new businesses to the state and helping existing Utah businesses to expand. 

Before moving back to his home state of Utah, Mr. Miller worked in Washington D.C. for the U.S. House of Representatives as legal counsel and for Arthur Andersen as a management consultant. Mr. Miller is a graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, and he also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University’s Romney Institute of Public Management.

The Lehi Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Talons Cove Golf Club. This means our chamber members can now golf at Talons Cove! 

Gold, Community Partner, and Trustee members can now take advantage of this amazing new benefit for simply being a member of the chamber.  

What's Included?

• Golf Monday-Friday
• Carts for each golfer
• One foursome per visit
• 10% discounts at the pro shop
• Large bucket of practice balls

How Does it Work?

• Call the chamber office to set up your tee time up to two weeks in advance, we'll take it from there and get back with you
• One foursome per day as a chamber so plan ahead and book ASAP 
• The benefit is good through the 2017 golf season

Benefit Details:

• Gold members can golf a minimum 3 times per golf season
• Community Partner members can golf a minimum 6 times
• Trustee members can golf a minimum 7 times
• As weather permits and extends the golf season and depending on membership usage, additional tee times will be available
• Additional tee times may be purchased as demand and membership grow

Value of Golf Benefit:

• Each foursome is valued at $140 (four golfers with carts)
• 10% off discounts at the club house speaks for itself
• Gold members = $420 value at 3 golf outings
• Community Partner members = $840 value at 6 golf outings
• Trustee members =  $980 value at 7 outings 

Additional Info:

• Gold members: With the $420 value plus the included Annual Cowboy Classic twosome valued at $200, you have already surpassed the cost of your Gold membership. You still have the value of your prepaid luncheons ($180), the additional marketing benefits, and everything else that included as a Gold member. The total value of the Gold membership is worth closer to $1,000, for which you are only paying $600. This is an incredible value.
• Silver and Bronze members: Consider upgrading to Gold to take advantage of this upgraded value.
