The Point of the Mountain Chamber has partnered with the Utah Department of Health & the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, for the Stay Safe to Stay Open campaign. The campaign's focus is to inform and support businesses in understanding and following safety guidance from the Utah Department of Health.
The centerpiece of the campaign is a SAFETY PLEDGE that businesses can take which demonstrates to employees and customers a commitment to follow this guidance.
Businesses participating in the campaign will be able to clearly identify their participation by colorful signage displayed in their windows and throughout their establishments, demonstrating that they have taken a pledge to follow the state’s guidelines and that their team will:
- Conduct temperature checks before work and stay home when sick
- Wash hands frequently and avoid touching face and eyes
- Practice physical distancing including wearing face coverings in close common areas
- Learn about high-risk groups and help protect them
- Cover mouths when coughing or sneezing
- Clean high-touch surfaces frequently
- Follow updated public health guidance
Businesses can pick up their signage from the Point of the Mountain Chamber office.
Items available include a window cling, flyer for your front window, and a pop-up display to place by your register.
Everyone has differing opinions on COVID-19 safety standards however, all customers want to know that they can shop at your place of business and feel safe. This signage will go a long way to help instill that confidence!
