Bobby Coyne is a Masters level clinician and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor specializing in the education, prevention, treatment, and recovery from alcohol or other drug misuse, abuse, addiction or dependency.
Bobby has over 20 professional years experience. He has also been directing and facilitating all levels of treatment in Los Alamos County since his arrival in 1998.
As the crisis responder at Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC), Bobby provides counseling and referrals for those who present at the emergency room due to alcohol poisoning, drug overdose, other alcohol or drug related issues; suicide attempts and other mental health crises.
Bobby brings a proven set of skills and understanding with his counseling techniques through
a scientifically based approach developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and through personal experience with the pain, despair, and destruction of alcoholism and drug abuse as well as the incredible miracle of recovery and the self-esteem that comes from re-gaining control of one’s life.
