About Us
Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) offers over 40 dance classes a week at beautifully appointed studios in both White Rock and Los Alamos. Dance classes for all interests and ages are available and taught by qualified, world-class instructors with a focus on safety, professionalism and fun.
DALA also proudly presents annual performances of "The Nutcracker" showcasing guest artists and students of Dance Arts Los Alamos.
Mission
DALA is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting dance in Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico by providing safe, professional instruction and quality performances.
History
Dance Arts Los Alamos was created in 1992 by Diana Wilcox. Originally offering classes in the community building, DALA soon got a permanent home in the old bowling alley in White Rock. DALA now offers classes at two locations: the White Rock Studio and Trinity on The Hill Episcopal Church in Los Alamos.

Dance Arts Los Alamos is now in its 19th year of providing safe and professional dance instruction in Los Alamos and White Rock. We offer over 40 classes a week at our two studio locations for students of all ages and abilities including classes in: ballet, pointe, contemporary ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, musical theater, creative movement, pilates and yoga! Students have a minimum of two public performance opportunities per year.DALA strives to continually improve and renovate our studio facilities and our instructors participate in continuing education opportuniities in order to provide our students with the best education possible.
