About Us
Hope Pregnancy Center is a non-profit Christian organization committed to supporting women and providing accurate information on pregnancy options and sexual choices. All of our services are offered free of charge and are confidential to the fullest extend allowed by law. Our Center is staffed almost entirely by volunteers who receive no financial compensation for their work here.
When you are sexually active, pregnancy is usually the greatest concern. You may be afraid of what your parents or boyfriend will do if you become pregnant. You may also be concerned that you will not be able to finish school or pursue your career. While pregnancy is something to be very concerned about, sexually transmitted infections are equally, if not more, worrisome. You are at risk for pregnancy if you have sex around ovulation (about 3 days a month), but you are at risk for getting an STI every time you have sex.
Whenever you have sex, there is always a chance for pregnancy. If you think you may be pregnant, please contact us for an appointment to take a free and confidential pregnancy test. During pregnancy, your body goes through many changes. Some common symptoms of early pregnancy include a missed period, nausea, breast tenderness, frequent urination, tiredness and mood swings. If you think you might be pregnant, the only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test. Please contact us for an appointment to take a free and confidential test.=
What you can expect at your appointment depends on what you are coming in for. All new clients are asked to fill out a request for services form. You will then be invited into our comfortable client room where your advocate will ask you some questions to assess how we can best meet your needs. If you are here for a pregnancy test you will also need to sign a consent form.
