About Us
The Los Alamos Arts Council promotes lifelong engagement in the arts through education and community partnerships. The LAAC serves as a catalyst for economic, social, and cultural growth, and our activities bring together the diverse segments of the community. We host over 30 performing arts and cultural programs each year, attended by more than 14,000 members of the community.
The arts are integral to life in Los Alamos. They celebrate our shared experience, foster and enhance our sense of community, and promote the economic vitality of our town. Since 1967, the Los Alamos Arts Council has been a presenter and promoter of local arts and has served as an umbrella organization for area artists and arts organizations. Our major programs include: Los Alamos Film Society, Los Alamos Kite Festival, Missoula Children s Theater, Brown Bag Performances, Fuller Lodge Series Performances, Senior Recitals, and semiannual Arts & Crafts Fairs.
