About Us
The Los Alamos School of Gymnastics (LASG) is a non-profit, member-owned and parent-operated organization that offers programs in recreational and competitive gymnastics for girls and boys from ages two through high school. In addition, LASG offers a Summer Sports Camp for children age 6 to 12, and a weekday after-school program, and a Wednesday after school program. LASG has been in operation since 1976, and under the direction of Loui Janecky since 1981. The gym space is also available for birthday parties. The Los Alamos School of Gymnastics is a member club of the US Gymnastics Federation (USGF) and USA Gymnastics (USAG)
The LASG is a member club of United States of America Gymnastics (USAG). Instruction is provided on USAG-approved equipment. LASG instructors hold USAG Level 1-4 Skills Evaluator Certifications, Professional Coaching Certifications, plus Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certifications. Loui Janecky is a USAG National Safety Instructor and we use that experience to implement safety in all activities.
