About Us

The MARK Project Inc. is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt rural development company that unites efforts and secures resources to build and revitalize our communities.

For 30 years, MARK has provided housing programs, economic development and technical assistance services to the Towns of Andes, Middletown and Roxbury and the Villages of Fleischmanns and Margaretville.

We work on economic development efforts in the areas of outdoor recreation and tourism, arts and culture, agriculture and forest products and alternative health and healing and on the business and social activities that support and sustain our communities. Our goal is to improve the lives of those who live and work here, to create an attractive destination for those who visit. We work to build the capacity of individuals, organizations, businesses and municipalities and provide resources that help them achieve their own pre-determined goals.
