Thank you to those that attended the Chamber Investor Appreciation Breakfast on that snowy day in November! We believe our investors should be the first to know happenings in our community, which is why we host the community update in July and the appreciation breakfast each November. They are always first to know about ribbon cuttings, current events, upcoming events and advances in the community. If you haven't joined the
Chamber, now is the time.
2018, was eventful. we went from 112 investors to 130, hosted 7 ribbon cuttings and have several more in the works, 13 additional lions, annual dinner and awards, career fair, golf outing, community wide yard sales (with Marshall Main Street), Night out on the National Road, Scarecrow contest, Trunk or Treat and finally looking forward to a successful Holly Days event on Saturday. We filled over 700 visitor bags (if you wish to have your swag in front of people coming into the community, contact us).
2019, is shaping up to be just as exciting. We have become a Google partner, we can help expedite your business listing on Google, so investors, if you need help on your online presents, contact the office today. We will be hosting the annual dinner and awards on Feb. 7, Fit Foodie Tri on June 8th which will combine a sprint triathlon and a food truck festival. In July we will be calling on our retail investors and organizations to re-brand our shop local campaign and Holly Days.
Its going to be an exciting year with a lot of changes!
Happy Holidays,
Jennifer Bishop
