The firm was awarded this recognition at the Chamber’s monthly Business Breakfast event held on May 7th at the Holiday Inn Viera. Sign Up for Health First Free CPR Day & 5K - June 13
Health First will host one of the nation’s largest FREE community CPR trainings at its 7th Annual Free CPR Day on Saturday, June 13 from 7-10:30 a.m. at Space Coast Stadium in Viera. Participants of all ages are invited to learn how to save a life. The Health First Education & Training Center will provide the American Heart Association's “Friends & Family” CPR and AED Training. The event includes a free “For Your Heart” 5K. Everyone who participates in the CPR training or 5K will receive a free T-shirt. All kids dressed in a superhero costume will receive a prize. Tons of records destroyed at The UPS Stores
Nearly eight tons of paper documents were destroyed during three Free Shredding Events at The UPS Stores in Melbourne, West Melbourne and Indian Harbour Beach. Crowds of customers watched in recent weekends as shredding trucks on-site gobbled up a total of 15,520 pound or 7.76 tons of their old tax forms, business records and other sensitive documents. Most of the shredding was done free of charge as a public service by The UPS Stores in observance of Tax Day and Earth Day. All will be recycled, according to owner Edward Ellis.
