Manufacturing Our Future, Through Industry Recognized Credentialing
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Lynda L. Weatherman, President & CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Florida's Space Coast

Lynda Weatherman will present the Certified Production Technician (CPT) initiative, the cornerstone of the EDC’s  credentialing for manufacturing careers (CMC) program.  With over 61% of Brevard’s manufacturing employees nearing retirement, the EDC heeded the call for action by local industry and launched this effort to connect demand for manufacturing talent with a supply pipeline - now and in the future. This new effort is focused on driving interest in manufacturing careers, building a skilled labor pool and creating economic growth in the manufacturing sector locally.
