166 CHILDREN TO BE PROVIDED WEEKEND FOOD
Thanks to the fundraising efforts of Jersey Mike’s Subs in Brevard County, 166 children will receive a package of food each weekend during the upcoming school year.

Over $25,000 was raised during Jersey Mike’s annual Day of Giving on March 30 with funds going to The Children’s Hunger Project.

According to Bryan Price, franchise owner of the five Jersey Mike’s locations in Brevard County, “We have worked with The Children’s Hunger Project for many years and know how efficiently this money will be spent.  The issue of childhood hunger and malnutrition, not ‘somewhere’ in the world, but right here in Brevard County, is staggering and difficult to understand.  Whatever the reason, we stand firmly with this charity to help address the problem.”

This is the fourth year in which the local Jersey Mike’s Subs locations have helped to raise awareness and money to address the problem of local kids going hungry on weekends.

Join the Florida Prep Friends & Neighbors Program
Florida Prep recently introduced its 'Friends & Neighbors' program to companies in the 32901 zip code area. The program offers discounts on tuition, and a host of other benefits, designed to assist working parents, particularly those new to the area.

Schools are often a major factor when considering an employment offer, and for existing residents, it's always good to have some 'back-up'.

Friends & Neighbors offers support from overnight stays, to early breakfast and supervised dinner, we are tapping into the elements parents have told us they find difficult to coordinate.

Further information can be found at www.flprep.com/friends. You may also like to join us at our next Open House on Saturday, April 9th at 9:30 am. RSVP admissions@flprep.com
